Nancy’s path to art began as a jewelry artist. Her father was a stone setter, and she remembers watching him set stones. Once her children left the nest, she felt she had to fill the void. She began making jewelry and from there entered her first glass class. She learned how to make glass cabochons and incorporated them into her jewelry pieces. The glass technique she uses is called fused glass. This is where glass is “bonded” together in a kiln using various heat temperatures.
From making small pieces of glass, she explored creating larger pieces and became fascinated with glass even further. Nancy immersed herself in the glass world by producing sculptural pieces of art. Nancy loves challenging herself by continually learning new techniques to incorporate into her glasswork. Glass is always moving, and so is she.
Nancy has been part of numerous fine art shows in Arizona and California. She feels that her art is a true reflection of herself, and she hopes you will find a personal connection to her work and her love of art.

My inspiration comes from the ocean, which is reflected in many of my pieces. I also love abstract and Kandinsky has always been a tremendous inspiration.
