I was born and raised in Rome, Italy. I currently live in Ojai, CA. My creations are intended to evoke the ancient culture of Rome. I like to make the wearers feel like they are wearing a piece of history, just dug out of ancient soil, yet with a contemporary look! Some of my pieces are one of a kind and some are part of limited collections, although each of them is unique due to the process I use.

I hand create in precious metals. I start from wires and sheets of silver and gold and use traditional metalsmithing techniques and tools. I love using fire to alter the structure of silver and change its original texture.

I sometimes look at the piece like a canvas and use an oxidating liquid solution to brush paint on it to highlight the different metals and textures and complete the design.

I often think of myself as a sculptor and painter at the same time.

The feeling I get from touching raw materials is a prelude to the collaboration between me, the metals and fire. The idea is born, I play with it and, ultimately, my new piece is completed.
