Live Music Featuring Hunter Takao

Hunter Takao (Hunter Takao Nakazono) is a talented musician rooted in California’s Central Coast music scene, known for his melodic guitar work, songwriting, and engaging live performances. He is perhaps best known as the lead vocalist & guitarist for The Electric Lavender Train, performing alongside powerhouse vocalist Rachel Santa Cruz, bassist Geert de Lange, and drummer Paul Della Pelle. The band brings an energetic blend of rock ‘n’ roll, contemporary and classic favorites, and original music to stages throughout San Luis Obispo County and beyond.

Hunter is also an active collaborator within the Central Coast music community, including his work with local artist Rookie (Kelly Rook Daly) as Rookie/Takao. His performances range from full-band rock shows to more intimate acoustic sets that showcase his musicianship, songwriting, and versatility as a performer.

For this special solo performance at Art of the Vineyard, Hunter steps into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter, offering guests an opportunity to experience a more intimate side of his music.
